Borrow a senior designer and developer. Keep all the credit.

I'm Chris Hurst, Hursty to most. I've designed and built WordPress sites since 2007, and by day I'm a Senior UX/UI Designer at a global media and marketing company. When your team is maxed out, I pick up the ticket, design it, build it and ship it under your name.

How agencies use me

Seven situations I get called in for. If one of them is on your project board right now, that is a good reason to talk.

  • Launch is next week and your developer is booked solid.

I take the build or the backlog off their plate, work in your staging and your tools, and hand it back ready for your QA.

Fixed quote or day rate Proof: Elev8 Football

  • The design is approved. Now someone has to build it properly.

Figma to the live site without the builder bloat: custom templates, fields your client can actually use, and a build that matches the design at every breakpoint.

Fixed quote Proof: Johanna Clark Hair

  • Your design team is maxed out too.

UX/UI in Figma from wireframes to polished screens, plus logos, brand systems and campaign graphics. I can hand the files to your developers or build them myself.

Day rate or fixed quote Proof: Cadence Consulting Services

  • A new client came with a site nobody wants to touch.

I diagnose first, then fix. Plugin conflicts, version mismatches, broken forms, frozen updates. You get a plain-English list of what was wrong and what still needs budget.

Flat-fee fix list Proof: Rizzo’s Wildlife World

  • Your SEO team found the problems. Nobody can ship the fixes.

I implement the technical side of the audit: speed, schema, redirects, titles, internal linking and indexing. In small steps, each one checked.

Hourly or monthly block Proof: LaRaj Tile & Marble

  • You sold a custom feature and need someone to build it.

Custom post types, small plugins, integrations and site-specific functionality, kept out of the theme so it survives the next redesign.

Fixed quote Proof: D&R Canal Watch

  • Care plans are piling up and the tickets keep coming.

A monthly block of hours for updates, fixes and small changes across your client sites, billed to you at a predictable rate.

Monthly block Proof: Bronx Little Italy and Ferragosto

White-label by default

Your client is your client. Here is how I keep it that way.

  • NDA before kickoff

Send your NDA and I will sign it before I see any client work.

  • Invisible unless you say otherwise

I work under your agency's name, in your tools, and never contact your client unless you ask me to.

  • No poaching, ever

I will not approach your clients during a project or after it. If one of them finds me, I send them back to you.

  • Your repos, your hosting, your process

I work in your Git, your staging and your project board, and follow your code standards.

  • Clean handoffs

Every job ends with notes your team can follow: what changed, where it lives and anything to keep an eye on.

From clients I've worked with directly

My agency work is under NDA, so these come from business owners I've built for myself.

The website looks sharp, we're ranking higher on Google, and the inquiries just keep rolling in.

Gary Pettengell Owner, Gary The Trainer

We're getting more calls, more work, and I don't have to worry about any of the tech stuff.

Questions agencies ask

Will my client ever know you exist?

Only if you want them to. By default I work under your agency's name and in your tools. If you would rather bring me onto a call as part of your team, that works too.

Do you design as well as build?

Yes. I'm a Senior UX/UI Designer by day, and I design logos, print and campaign graphics too. Send a Figma file to build, or a brief to design and build.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, before kickoff. I also won't approach your clients, during a project or after it.

How fast do you reply?

Within 1 business day, Eastern Time.

How much capacity do you have?

Around 15 to 25 hours a week. A monthly block reserves your share of it, so you are not competing for time when a deadline lands.

Do you work with Elementor and other page builders?

Yes. Plenty of the sites agencies inherit run on Elementor or Elementor Pro, and I work inside them. For new builds you control, I would recommend a custom theme with ACF. It is faster, and easier for your client to edit.

What do you need to get started?

The brief or the Figma file, the deadline, access to staging or the repo, and the name of whoever signs off.

Can I see work that isn't on this site?

Yes. Agency and NDA work is shown on a call, with client names hidden.

Got a ticket nobody on your team can pick up?

Send it over. You'll have a quote or an estimate within 1 business day.
