The situation
Cadence is a London consultancy that works on insurance claims and construction disputes. They needed a site that explained that expertise clearly, worked on every device, met accessibility expectations and loaded fast.
They also needed a brand to put on it.
What I did
I took it end to end: research, brand, interface design and the build.
- Designed the logo and brand identity.
- Designed the interface in Adobe XD, starting from research into what their clients need to see first.
- Built a custom WordPress theme from scratch in PHP, SCSS and JavaScript, with no page builder.
- Added a video background above the fold on the homepage and a clear, structured content layout.
- Integrated custom plugins and set up the SEO foundations.
