The situation
Retain Players makes software that helps youth soccer clubs spot players who are likely to leave. The site had to explain the product well enough to convert club operators who had never heard of it, and build search visibility for terms like “soccer club retention” and “player attrition”.
What I did
I treated it as a SaaS landing site, not a brochure.
- A hero built around the operator’s problem rather than the product’s features.
- A three-step “how it works” section with app screenshots.
- Pricing framed around value: the cost of one lost player against the cost of the tool.
- Comparison content against spreadsheets and generic CRMs.
- Blog architecture for ongoing content on club operations.
- Product schema in Rank Math, and Ninja Forms for demo requests and trial sign-ups.
